Resorts Driver (Level 1)\n\nLocation:Bridport\n\nContract Type: Temporary\n\nSalary: £12.65ph\n\nStart Date: ASAP April 2025\n\nEnd Date: Sunday 28th September 2025\n\nShifts: 4 days on, 2 days off\n\nBarker Ross are loking for Resorts Drivers (Level 1) to join our team working on behalf of the council in the Bridport area, including the West Bay and Lyme Regis areas.\n\nThis is a temporary role and involves driving a council vehicle to empty bins and support the maintenance of resort cleanliness.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nSafely operate council vehicles to collect and empty bins in designated resort ares.\nEnsure the safe disposal of waste and debris according to council regulations.\nMaintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the resort areas.\nAdhere to all traffic laws, council policies, and safety protocols.\nEnsure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.\nWork as part of a team to ensure efficient and timely completion of duties\nProvide excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.Qualifications and Skills:\n\nA valid UK driving license\nPrevious experience in a driving or waste collection role is desirable.\nKnowledge of the West Bay and Lyme Regis area is an advantage but not essential.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team\nFlexibility to work on a 4 day on - 2 day off rotating shift pattern.\nAbility to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanlinessTeams:\n\nGreen Team: West Bay area\nRed Team: Lyme Regis area\nWhite Team: Covers both West Bay and Lyme Regis areaBarker Ross Group values diversity and promotes equality.
