As part of the Talent & Organisational Development team, you’ll deliver proactive and impactful learning, development, and wellbeing solutions that support performance and engagement across the Hunter Douglas UK group.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Identifying learning and wellbeing needs across the business by collaborating with managers and People Business Partners.
2. Designing and delivering engaging workshops, programmes, and digital content tailored to both office and manufacturing teams.
3. Creating online learning materials such as animations, videos, and eLearning modules to ensure accessibility for all employees.
4. Delivering core learning offers and annual development programmes across the UK and key locations in Europe, both in person and virtually, depending on business needs.
5. Travelling to various Hunter Douglas locations across Europe to facilitate training sessions, support wellbeing initiatives, and build strong relationships with local teams.
6. Evaluating programme effectiveness to ensure alignment with individual, team, and organisational goals.
7. Managing logistics and administration of learning and wellbeing events, including reporting, calendar management, and internal communications.
8. Utilising and promoting the Learning Management System (LMS) to support a blended learning approach and encourage self-directed learning.
9. You’ll be a key contributor to shaping a culture of continuous development and wellbeing, aligned with our values and strategic priorities.
What We Are Looking For
10. We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, structure, and energy to their work. You’ll need:
11. CIPD in Learning and Development L5 preferred
12. At least 2 years’ experience in a Learning & Development role or similar.
13. A qualification in training needs analysis, learning design or equivalent experience.
14. Experience with psychometric tools (e.g. SDI, Insights, DISC) or similar profiling tools.
15. Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
16. A solid understanding of the L&D cycle, especially design and evaluation.
17. Excellent planning and time management skills.
18. Confidence to challenge and influence when needed.
19. Proficiency in Office 365 and presentation design software.
20. Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
21. High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
22. Willingness and ability to travel to European sites approx. once per month as part of the role.
