Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves completing a range of cleaning tasks including deep cleans, regular maintenance cleans, and biohazard cleaning in accordance with established health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform high-standard deep cleans in commercial & residential settings
* Carry out scheduled routine maintenance cleaning duties, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across assigned areas
* Safely handle and clean biohazard materials following strict procedures and PPE guidelines
* Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs or replacements needed
* Accurately complete checklists and cleaning logs as required
* Comply with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and infection control protocols
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or complete handovers
Requirements
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
* Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
* Willingness to undergo necessary training, including biohazard and infection control procedures
* Enhanced DBS check may be required depending on work location
* MUST HAVE access to your own vehicle

* Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
* Pay: £12.40-£21 per hour
* Expected hours: 20-25 per week
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
* Location: Huyton (Servicing Liverpool & Surrounding)
* Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor / Operations Manager
* Schedule: Monday to Friday
* Work Location: In person
