Overview

Occupation: Business Development Manager Employer: Occupop (Client – Bitrecruit) Location: Hybrid – Horsham/Remote Salary: £65,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

* Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities within the education sector.
* Own the full sales cycle from first contact through to contract signature.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new name opportunities.
* Work closely with marketing on campaigns, events and lead follow‑up.
* Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs and position CTS solutions.
* Prepare and present proposals, pricing and recommendations.
* Develop strong relationships with decision‑makers (Heads, Bursars, Trust leaders, CIOs).
* Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and activity tracking in CRM (HubSpot).
* Contribute to go‑to‑market feedback and proposition development.


Skills & Requirements

* Proven success in B2B sales or business development (IT services preferred).
* Strong prospecting and relationship‑building capability.
* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
* Self‑motivated, resilient and outcome‑focused.


Desirable Skills & Experience

* Experience selling into schools, MATs or the public sector.
* Knowledge of managed IT services, cyber security or cloud solutions.
* Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.

* Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with wider teams.
