Children's Qualified Social Worker – Family Connect
Join our team at Telford & Wrekin Council. We are looking for a qualified social worker to support children and families through our Family Connect service. The role is Full Time (part time applicants welcome) and is office based at Darby House.

We believe that children and young people are best cared for by their birth families and extended networks. Your role will involve safeguarding children, undertaking enquiries by telephone and electronic correspondence, analysing findings, and providing proportionate support. The work is fast‑paced, fully office based, and uses an electronic case management system.
Our Family Connect approach is a multi‑agency partnership that supports early help and safeguarding decisions. You will work within a team that is experienced, supportive, friendly and enthusiastic. The service offers a new model of child protection delivered by specialist adult practitioners embedded within the teams.
