About the role
We are looking for 2 experienced Receptionists to join our Otau Ridge Village in Clevedon, South Auckland
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will provide quality and timely reception and administration support which enables effective service delivery for our Care Home Residents, staff and visitors.
You will be the first point of contact for residents, staff, contractors and visitors. This role is pivotal to ensure a 'welcoming' atmosphere at our village reflects the service standards we excel at.
Role 1: 9 hours a week - Saturday and Sunday - working 10 am to 3 pm.
Role 2: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday - working 8.30 am to 4 pm
Responsibilities include:
5. Welcoming visitors and answering all calls in a professional and friendly manner.
6. Providing general administrative support to the Care Home management and the team in general - you will be computer savvy and can pick up new systems quickly.
7. Take an active role in monitoring all relevant Health and Safety issues.
8. Ensuring the Reception area is kept neat and tidy.
About You
You will have had previous experience in a similar role and understand how first impressions certainly count. You are a team player with a positive and welcoming attitude, and you always go 'above and beyond' in all you do. You have excellent 'all round' admin and computer skills, a can-do attitude and are happy to put your hand up to help when needed. Professional but friendly, you will become the source of knowledge for all things at the village.
