Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. With plenty of opportunities for career development, JD Group is the place to be for those who are motivated by progression and personal growth.
Responsibilities
* Provide a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
* Continuously maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets by staying knowledgeable on current trends, in‑store promotions and evolving store processes.
* Drive sales, ensuring targets are achieved and, wherever possible, exceeded.
* Utilise in‑store devices to offer the full product range, provide alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
* Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring the full‑size range is available on the shop floor.
* Ensure products are priced correctly.
* Deputise for other staff, work across departments, or carry out other duties as required.
* Represent JD Sports in the most professional manner at all times.
* Carry out work safely and responsibly.
Role Objectives and Key Performance Indicators
* Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Actively drive sales to support the store in meeting and exceeding its financial goals.
* Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock on the shop floor to maintain optimal product availability.
