IRS is an industry-leading provider of radiation protection services with 30 years of experience, working closely with the NHS, private hospitals, veterinary, dental, security, industrial, and education sectors. Based at our Liverpool HQ and reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will oversee customer support and advisory services, including marketing, quotations, administration, credit control, team management, and customer service.
We are seeking applicants with experience in customer service or operations delivery, looking for their first managerial role, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Distribute marketing materials for relevant services.
* Respond to customer inquiries about services.
* Provide quotations to prospective customers.
* Ensure staff training for process execution.
* Update customer contract schedules with dosimetry data.
* Prepare data for customer contract reviews.
* Administer dosimetry services, including account updates.
* Handle first-line customer support via phone and email.
* Record queries and shipments in the database.
* Coordinate with the Scientifics Team for case management.
* Send tender opportunities to sales for new RPA customers.
* Assist with invoicing and credit control.
* Follow the company's QMS and work instructions.
* Support training of new team members.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in customer-focused or operational roles.
* Leadership and mentoring skills for small teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
* Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Adaptability to changing priorities.
* Warehouse operations knowledge (desirable).
* Understanding scientific terminology (desirable).
