We are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst to join our team in London! Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that combines finance, intellectual curiosity and collaboration with key partners? The Financial Analyst role involves supporting the Finance Director and Business Leaders in overseeing the business unit’s financial activities. You will ensure the delivery of key financial benchmarks defined by the Business Leader and Gallagher Re Senior Management. How you'll make an impact Strategy and Growth Support the Business Unit (BU) in the implementation of BU financial plans as set by Gallagher Re Senior Management. Ensure the BU has the appropriate operations support in managing sales, pipelines, revenue analysis and client relationship management. Ensure the completeness and integrity of system revenue data to drive accuracy, reliability and high quality revenue analysis. Financial Oversight Responsible for tracking the BU revenue, ensuring it is appropriately budgeted, forecasted and shared with Finance Director, Operations Director, BU Leader and are reported in line with the Group’s revenue recognition policy. Analyse monthly revenue financials and assist in providing insight on significant variances. Assist in the annual budgeting and monthly / quarterly forecasting processes. Act as a key link between Gallagher Re Finance and the BU. Be prepared to represent the division in any financial forum. Ensure that Sales data is appropriately collated and communicated to the Business Leader and Gallagher Re Sales Team. Provision of other ad hoc financial reports as requested. Operations, Service and IT Preparation and distribution of monthly and weekly reports to Senior Leadership, including data to support revenue and sales pipeline analysis. Build and develop standard revenue analytics for regular distribution to the business. Engage and collaborate with others across segments, lines of business and regions. Ad-hoc tasks as requested in support of our operation. About You Strong data analytics skills and mathematical competence are essential. Proven experience in a similar role within reinsurance/ insurance is advantageous but not crucial for the right candidate. A great teammate with excellent interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate points effectively across all levels of stakeholders. Shown ability to exert positive influence and hold others accountable. Strategic problem solver capable of aligning decisions with company objectives. Highly organised with a focused approach and strong attention to detail.
