Our Academy Scouts play a critical role in identifying and recommending the best talent to join us across a variety of locations across Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke, Birmingham, Nottingham, Newcastle Upon-Tyne, Leeds, Glasgow, London.

Volunteer Scouts observe and produce scouting reports on players and games specified by the Head of Talent Identification and Recruitment Volunteer Scouts make recommendations to the Head of Talent Identification and Recruitment, in alignment with highlighted positions within the relevant age groups that may require new recruits.

* Regularly attend live games to identify and report on players using bespoke templates specific to the recruitment needs of Wrexham AFC Academy.
* Liaise with the Head of Talent Identification and Recruitment to identify, review, report on and monitor team and player targets to support the Club’s overarching recruitment strategy.
* Actively participate in organised scout meetings/ CPD events and present (and be accountable for) position specific recommendations to the Head of Talent Identification and Recruitment .
* Contribute meaningfully throughout the scouting process (identification, assessment, recommendation).

Volunteers are required to comply with all aspects of the Club/Academy Safeguarding Policies and arrangements and to take personal responsibility and care to enable strong safeguarding practices to be embedded in the Academy and across the Club too.
* This volunteering role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check (with Childrens Barred List)
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Take responsibility and care for the health and safety of yourself and other colleagues and members of the public who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
* To comply with all aspects of the Club’s Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety.
