The Gleeds Infrastructure team currently works across Infrastructure sectors such as Rail, Highways, Utilities, Aviation and Ports providing Programme Management, Cost Management and Project Controls services to our clients.
Responsibilities
* Undertake “rolling wave” planning & resource loading for assigned project & work scopes
* Utilise team inputs to create and track plans and schedules, perform risk exploration
* Responsible for detailed schedule exploration of network logic and critical path
* Work with cross‑functional Program Teams to resolve critical path and network conflicts
* Perform schedule variance exploration by comparing baseline to schedule
* Perform earned value exploration in support of assigned programmes or projects
* Ensure management understanding of network logic, Gantt, milestone lists and resource information in the schedule
* Develop and maintain scheduling procedures for assigned programmes
* Utilise Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
* Ensure major projects and programme schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing and quality
Experience
* Previous major projects experience and be able to provide support and guidance across multiple live projects as well as contribute to tender programmes
* Experience within project controls with a focus on planning ideally within a consultancy
* Experience in Primavera P6 with experience in Asta Powerproject and MSP beneficial
* Strong Excel competence to produce dashboards & supporting data visualization to P6 programmes
Qualifications
* Applicants should ideally be HNC, HND or Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Construction Law or similar / relevant discipline, or in some cases applicants with an alternative background (e.g.: Engineering) may be considered
* Professional qualifications and/or membership of the APM, RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS or other relevant Chartered Institute are desirable, and will be supported if not already attained
