We are seeking experienced Senior Supervisors with mechanical and/or electrical expertise to join CreekConnect, the Upper South Creek Network Project, a landmark joint venture between Seymour Whyte, Jacobs, and Sydney Water. This large-scale EPCM project is already underway and, with multiple future stages planned, has the potential to extend over the next decade, offering long-term career stability. You’ll lead complex mechanical and electrical works and play a key role in shaping Western Sydney’s water infrastructure for years to come. This is a hands-on role where your trade expertise will directly influence the safe and successful delivery of a high-profile project. About the Project CreekConnect will deliver new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers to meet the growing needs of Western Sydney. The project focuses on safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards to ensure sustainable, high-quality outcomes that will serve the community well into the future. How you’ll make an impact • Assist in preparing and implementing SWMS, Task Hazard Review Cards, and conduct HSEQ inspections to ensure WHS compliance • Plan, monitor, and supervise mechanical and electrical works to meet WHS, Environmental, and Quality requirements • Work with Engineers to develop and deliver short-term programs, including resource allocation and sequencing of works • Manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical crews, plant, and subcontractors across multiple work fronts • Conduct effective team and subcontractor meetings, including pre-starts and toolbox talks, to communicate upcoming works • Complete daily reporting, including diaries, timesheets, and productivity records, and support project administration for claims and variations Your key qualities • Significant experience delivering civil infrastructure construction projects, with demonstrated capability in mechanical and/or electrical works • Significant experience managing large-scale civil construction activities across multiple trades/disciplines or as a technical specialist in a core trade/discipline • Recognised skills in managing Work Health and Safety and Environmental legislative and procedural requirements • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging pre-starts and toolbox talks • Ability to interpret technical drawings/specifications for all trades, including layout plans and schematic drawings • Capable of understanding detailed programs and contributing to the development of programming detail • Certificate III, Certificate IV, trade qualifications, or substantial advancement towards achievement What’s in it for you • Long-term job potential with a multi-stage project that could extend over the next decade • Health and Wellbeing: discounted health insurance, EAP, wellness perks • Time for Life: birthday leave, paid parental leave, purchased leave options • Financial Wellbeing: annually reviewed salary, bonuses, employee share program • Career Growth: training, leadership pathways, competency frameworks • Work on a high-profile, technically challenging project with a respected Tier 1 contractor and JV partners Many of our projects are located in regional or hard-to-access areas, so all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
