We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer - Accounts & Systems who is a conscientious individual, confident, enthusiastic and motivated in their approach to work. This role will bring you to the heart of our organisation working within the Accounts & Systems function. If you like a role that offers variety and each working day to be different, this is the job for you.
We are a small unitary authority which means we can make things happen quickly and there is always something new and interesting happening. You will need to have an eye for detail with our systems, good finance concept, be able to work effectively individually and as part of a team.

Skills
Essential:
* The ability to work with a variety of customers and forge effective working relationships.
* Able to manage a piece of work ensuring that all milestones are achieved, and deadlines are met.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Knowledge
Essential:
* Up to date, working knowledge of Windows-based software and of Microsoft Office applications; in particular a good level of knowledge in TEAMS, Excel, Word & Outlook.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience of providing timely, accurate and relevant information from several different databases.
* Educated to GCSE standard, including Grade 4(C) or above for Maths and English (or equivalent).
