Job Description The Brand Manager is responsible for delivering brand plans within a category group that includes both Valeo-owned and retailer-owned brands. They lead and steward initiatives within these brand plans.
The Brand Manager excels in planning and executing initiatives, contributing to the shaping of the plans.
Achieve or surpass budget targets for the category group
Ensure strong stewardship of initiatives within the brand plans
Provide comprehensive monthly reporting on initiatives (board-level standards)
Contribute to building and maintaining a consistent Valeo Brand Building Framework
Participate actively in the annual strategy review
Lead quarterly updates on initiatives
Ensure optimal marketing budget compliance and utilization (Core marketing, ASOH, shopper marketing)
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration
Represent the brand effectively with external stakeholders, especially retailers
Oversee and inspire the “Consumer is Boss” plan through regular consumer engagement
Qualifications Strong leadership skills to shape, align, and plan
Excellent analytical thinking capabilities
Ability to create and adapt to change
Effective collaboration skills, including honest communication
A mindset of continuous improvement (“Personal Best” mentality)
Good stewardship of initiatives from the brand plans
Adaptability to operate at all organizational levels
Exceptional presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Extensive experience with the full marketing mix—from insight generation to measurement
Successful interaction with board-level stakeholders and collaboration with sales teams
Proven track record of driving change and delivering business results
Experience in NPD, go-to-market strategies, and engaging around brand plans
