Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Newham
Salary: £90 – £105 per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Are you passionate about helping young children thrive, especially those with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming primary school in Newham!
✏️ Your Role as an Early Years Teaching Assistant:
Morning Support: Provide focused 1:1 help to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD and self-harming behaviours.
Nappy Changing: Support children with personal care needs, including nappy changing.
Collaborative Working: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans and interventions.
Afternoon Flexibility: Help across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to different classes and needs.
Building Connections: Form strong, supportive relationships to encourage each child’s academic and emotional development.

✅ What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as an Early Years or Nursery Teaching Assistant (preferred).
Confidence in supporting children with SEN needs.
Comfortable and experienced with nappy changing.
A proactive and resilient approach to supporting young learners.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work across different year groups when needed.
