Hayley Dexis is looking for a Branch Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team at our BML Oswestry branch, will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. About the role: As our Branch Assistant you will join a small team of 6 including our driver and stores person. This is a small site and the team here work across a variety of tasks from answering the phones, serving on the trade counter to dealing with emails. You’ll be doing things like, coordinating with customers to ensure delivery dates are met, liaising with the salesperson to understand any changes to orders, and dealing with inbound queries. You’ll help to pick orders and stock checking along with helping with deliveries from time to time. We’re looking for someone who is confident, who is happy to get stuck in and learn all aspects of every task. You’ll have a good level of software and systems skills too. Working hours: Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings Key responsibilities as our Branch Assistant Carry out day to day order processing Purchasing of goods for customer orders and stock Purchase order progression Stock checking Order picking Occasional deliveries Serving on the trade counter Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Branch Assistant Motivated, with a flexible and proactive attitude. Willing to learn new skills and develop knowledge. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in using Microsoft Office. Driving license preferred.
