Your Responsibilities
1. Maintain health and safety standards by following site protocols
2. Perform manual chemical waste repacking, including operation of pumps and compactors
3. Process outgoing loads according to regulations, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
4. Manage waste pricing, bookings, and profitability through strategic consolidation
5. Oversee waste acceptance procedures, ensuring compliance and reporting non-conformances
6. Handle incoming loads efficiently, maintaining quality control
7. Conduct chemical processing activities like compatibility testing, blending, and neutralization
8. Perform laboratory testing and supervise site operations in absence of senior staff
What We're Looking For
* HNC/HND or higher in Chemistry or relevant Science; degree preferred
* Knowledge of chemical hazards and risk assessment skills
* Health and safety awareness; COSHH / IOSH desirable
* Experience in waste or chemical industry is desirable
* Willingness to work outdoors and get hands-on
