* The Sell: If you are currently at a firm where the Partnership path is opaque and not meritocratic, this firm offers a refreshed, entrepreneurial environment where the London office has doubled its headcount in recent years and continues to promote from within.
* The Support: You aren't thrown to the wolves. They operate a highly collaborative, non-siloed culture where the French, German and US offices (among others) work as one unit.
The Practice: Small Teams, Heavyweight Deals
What makes this firm different is its 360° Private Equity platform.
* Large-Cap & Mid-Market LBOs: Leading deals for global sponsors, across a broad range of industries but often with a focus on Tech, Healthcare, and Financial Services.
* In addition to growth equity mandates and special situations investing.
* The \"Lean Team\" Model: They intentionally staff deals with smaller, nimble teams. This means at 3–6 PQE, you are effectively doing the work of a Senior Associate or Counsel at other firms, getting direct access to Partners and Lead Sponsors.
* You will be encouraged and supported to build a practice with plenty of warm leads from the notably strong European platform.
* The firm has a high market share for their current roster of current financial sponsor clients, often acting on 80-90% of transactions.
Candidate Profile
* Experience: 3–6 years PQE within a reputable Private Equity or Corporate M&A team.
* The Mindset: You must be \"deal-hungry.\" They value associates who want to take the \"point\" on workstreams and enjoy the commercial side of law.
* Sector Interest: Exposure to (or interest in) TMT, Financial Services, growth equity or special situations investing is a plus.
