Role: Adhoc Cover Supervisors Location: Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Havant & Surrounding Areas Start: ASAP Contract: Permanent and Temporary Opportunities Teaching Personnel are working closely with a variety of secondary schools across Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Havant and the nearby areas, supporting them in building a flexible pool of reliable Cover Supervisors for the remainder of the academic year as well as academic year 2026/27. These schools offer inclusive, supportive environments with strong academic and pastoral standards, each committed to providing high‑quality education and a broad curriculum for their students. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre‑planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support students in accessing the work set. This role is particularly beneficial for graduates exploring a future career in education, as well as those with relevant experience working with young people. The ideal candidate may be: A graduate considering a future in teaching and looking for classroom experience. A sports coach or someone with experience engaging young people in extracurricular or community settings. An individual from the military, prison service or similar backgrounds, experienced in managing behaviour or supporting vulnerable individuals.
