We are seeking a skilled and committed Field Service Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality engineering services to clients across the UK and beyond. Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist engineering services to customers in line with company procedures, including QA and Health & Safety standards.
* Travel to customer sites as required and carry out work as instructed.
* Complete allocated work diligently to maximise productivity.
* Attend site inductions, local training, and Health & Safety courses as needed.
* Liaise with the Engineering Department regarding technical issues.
* Communicate professionally with customers to ensure successful job completion and to represent the company positively at all times.
* Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, such as weekly records, job sheets, and expense claims.
* Participate in training courses as per the Training Management Procedure and obtain required accreditations for career progression.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and protective clothing in good condition.
* Consistently promote and demonstrate the company's Core Values in all work-related activities.
Skills & Requirements
* Completion of a four-year Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (minimum NVQ Level 3).
* Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices; must hold a valid Safety Passport and IOSH Working Safely certificate.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Must be medically fit and willing to complete recognised Offshore Survival training.
* Familiarity with working to QA and safety standards in technical environments.
Working Conditions
* Work locations include UK, Republic of Ireland, offshore, and overseas.
* Must be comfortable working in demanding environments and sometimes difficult conditions.
* Night shifts and weekend work may be required depending on the project.
* Extended travel and time away from home will be a regular part of the role.
