You are responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment during night operations to support receiving, storing, loading, picking and distribution of goods. This role ensures smooth warehouse workflow, adherence to safety standards, and timely handling of products to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Order Fulfilment - Picking of orders accurately and in a timely manner
* Quality Control - Inspect products while picking for orders or storing products away
* Inventory Management - Reporting low stock levels, damages, missing items to supervisors. Accurately placing stock in the correct locations in the correct storage controls. Conducting cycle counts when required.
* Loading & Unloading - Loading & Unloading vehicles, verifying orders/shipments against delivery documentation and reporting discrepancies. Securing loads properly.
* General Warehouse duties - Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
* Shift Specific Duties - multitasking, ensure handovers are given to the night supervisors. Work independently and manage time effectively against targets.
* Workplace Safety - follow all H&S guidelines and all-night shift protocols. Pre-shift inspections and immediately reporting any safety hazards
* Valid forklift license
* Knowledge of warehouse safety practices
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Flexibility to perform additional warehouse tasks as needed.
