The post holder will be responsible for providing healthcare placements for nursing and AHP students using virtual technology and processes. This involves exploring innovative ways to deliver high-quality learning experiences for students. They will work collaboratively with Higher Education Institutes to ensure that the simulated learning programmes meet the proficiency requirements outlined in the students' curriculum. Additionally, the post holder will work closely with subject experts and clinical educators across various clinical practice areas to deliver programme requirements.
Main duties of the job
To develop and facilitate simulation programmes aligned with students' proficiency levels by liaising with relevant specialist educators. Ensure student attendance and the smooth running of virtual sessions, creating an environment that fosters decision-making skills and promotes the application of theory into practice. Collaborate with the Strive simulation team and specialist practitioners to create engaging, interactive student placement experiences.

* Experience as an assessor of students
* Extensive current clinical experience
Qualifications
* Degree as a registered Nurse
* Teaching qualification
Knowledge
* Knowledge of current issues and legislation affecting healthcare education
* In-depth knowledge of NMC Standards of Education (2019)
* High commitment and passion for education and student learning
* Evidence of teaching and supporting students in practice
* Experience in assessment in practice
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
* IT skills
* Effective time management and presentation skills
