Parking Services Officer

Salary - £29,093 - £32,654 (Grade 5)

Hours - 37 hours per week

Contract type - Full time, permanent

Parking Services are currently seeking a Parking Services Officer to support the management of back-office functions related to Penalty Charge Notices, car parks, residential permits, dispensations, and parking income.


Role Responsibilities:

1. Assist in traffic management by liaising with officers, management, contractors, and external agencies.
2. Process, evaluate, and respond to informal challenges in accordance with legislation.
3. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and income.
4. Support Senior Parking Services Officers in maintaining service continuity and legal compliance.


Role Requirements:

1. NVQ Level 2 in parking administration or relevant equivalent experience.
2. Experience in customer service and handling challenging situations.
3. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
4. Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally.
5. Adaptable and quick learner with strong attention to detail.

Working Arrangements
