We are seeking to recruit a proactive individual with a passion to work and engage with young people in the community through detached work, work in schools and on a 1:1 basis.
The Senior Youth Worker will lead and deliver high-quality youth work provision, with a focus on engaging and supporting young people in both centre-based and detached settings. They will develop and implement programmes that promote personal, social, and educational development, ensuring that young people have access to safe spaces, positive relationships, and opportunities for growth.
A key aspect of this role is detached youth work—engaging with young people in their own environments, such as streets, parks, and community spaces, to build trusting relationships and provide support on issues affecting their lives.
The Senior Youth Worker will work in partnership with other agencies to address the needs of young people, particularly those at risk of exploitation, exclusion or social disadvantage. This role requires strong leadership, safeguarding expertise, and a commitment to empowering young people to reach their full potential.
