Job Title: Planned Works Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing
Location: Covering Leighton Buzzard
Salary: Up to £60,000

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in planned works and social housing?
We're working with a leading housing provider to recruit a commercially astute and driven Planned Works Quantity Surveyor to join their growing property services team, covering the Leighton Buzzard area.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the commercial aspects of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects within a social housing setting.
* Prepare cost estimates, tender documentation, and contract valuations for planned works including roofing, kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and external upgrades.
* Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with contractual obligations.
* Liaise with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and timely completion of works.
* Carry out cost/value reconciliation and financial reporting.
* Conduct valuations and process contractor payments.
* Support procurement strategies and contribute to value engineering across projects.

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the social housing sector - planned maintenance experience is essential.
* Strong knowledge of SOR codes and cost control within housing projects.
* Experience working with JCT and NEC contracts.
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and travel within the Leighton Buzzard area.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Full UK driving licence.
