Overview
Senior Children's Residential Support Worker – Lisvane, Cardiff. Salary: From £32,304 per annum including an additional £3k pa for sleep-ins (based on 4 sleep ins per month at £62.64 per each).
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team to deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child\'s needs
* Promote a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for young people
* Record events, observations, and progress reports accurately
* Assist in developing and implementing individualised care plans
* Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with children and colleagues
* Support the Service Manager in maintaining high standards of care and compliance
Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months experience in a children\'s home setting
* Level 3 or 4 qualification in residential childcare (recognised in pay rate)
* Knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models of care
* Excellent communication skills, caring, flexible, and resilient nature
* Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins
* Full UK driving licence
