Overview
TipTopJob is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged students with ASD and complex needs at a community-led SEN school in Bromley. You will join a dedicated team of professionals to help students achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities
* Provide onetoone and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum and develop independence, literacy and mathematics skills
* Assist with planning, preparation and resourcing for lessons
* Promote inclusion and encourage participation in learning and extracurricular activities
* Implement effective behaviour management in line with school policies
* Organise and manage teaching space and resources to maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
Qualifications / Applicant
* Experience of working with students with SEN
* Enjoyment of working with young people
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and equality
* Strong organisational skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
