Energy Manager (Defence & Aerospace)
Location: Bristol to London area - North West England

The role will focus on a specific customer in the Defence & Aerospace industry responsibilities of the role will be to; advising this customer on their energy strategy/solutions, understanding how they manage their buildings and developing objectives & targets with the customer to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.
You will look to analyse data and understand the technical aspects of building energy & carbon performance to identify solution to drive down emissions, as well as, develop a pipeline of energy saving opportunities through low/no cost targeted optimisations, capital projects and smart building technology
We are looking for a suitably qualified and an experienced energy manager, preferably degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline (i.e., Energy/Environmental Management, Building Services Engineering) and/or equivalent qualification by experience, for example engineering (e.g., building services, mechanical engineering, energy engineering).
Ideally you will hold a minimum of two years of related experience and hold membership of a recognised professional body (such as EMA, CIBSE, the Energy Institute, IMechE or working towards)
You will have a strong technical understanding of energy management processes and techniques and technical understanding of the common building services and systems - HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation, and management systems (BMS)
