Little Trees Hucclecote is seeking a qualified Team Lead on a temporary contact to join our warm and supportive nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take on additional responsibility and help lead a room and wider team to deliver outstanding experiences for children and families. About the Role As Team Lead, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the Nursery Management Team in maintaining high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Leading by example and modelling excellent early years practice Supporting the day-to-day running of your room/team Ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development for all children Supporting planning in line with the EYFS curriculum Building strong partnerships with parents and carers Supporting staff development and mentoring team members Maintaining safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies Contributing to creating a positive, nurturing environment for children and staff What We’re Looking For Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential) Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements Excellent communication and organisational skills A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude Passion for providing exceptional care and education We can offer you: Training inset days · Personalised professional development opportunities · Free daily lunch with the children ·Wellbeing support.
