Our client is looking for a Senior Asset Allocation Analyst to deliver high‑quality economic analysis, build quantitative frameworks, and help drive top‑down investment insight for portfolio management.
What You’ll Do
* Analyse and interpret macroeconomic and market data to support central investment decisions.
* Build, refine, and enhance quantitative models that deepen the firm’s analytical capabilities.
* Produce detailed, engaging research for internal notes to external thought‑leadership pieces.
* Present insights to investment managers and senior stakeholders across the business.
* Proactively identify new research areas and contribute to the evolution of the asset allocation process at the strategic and tactical levels.
* Collaborate with specialists across equities, fixed income, collectives, and risk modelling.
What You Bring
* Five years’ experience in a similar role in financial services or as a consultant serving that sector.
* A strong academic background, a bachelor’s, and a master’s in Economics, Political Economy, Economic History, or a related field.
* Solid understanding of economics and quantitative/econometric techniques.
* Coding experience (Python preferred) is beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to communicate complex ideas in plain, engaging language — visually and verbally.
* A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to take ownership of research areas.
* Awareness of the regulatory environment and commitment to high professional standards.
