Payroll Assistant job in Stirlingshire Your new company Based in Stirlingshire, our client is recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. The role is based on-site, and it is advisable that applicants have access to their own transport. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller and working as part of a team, you will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to; collating payroll information (weekly), calculating payroll information (deductions, overtime, allowances etc, processing SMP, SSP tec, ensuring all employee details are correct, time and attendance reporting, reporting on payroll for Management Accountant, processing starters and leavers, processing holidays, handling payroll queries and all associated payroll & HR Administration What you'll need to succeed Experience within a similarly varied payroll position is required, although training can be provided in areas in which you are less experienced. You will be an organised individual who can prioritise your workload effectively and thrives working in a fast-paced environment. You will have a professional communication style and be able to build rapport effectively as you will liaise with employees, via telephone, email and face to face.
