What to expect Vacuum all the rooms in the home. Wash down tables and wipe down all chairs and paint surfaces. Dust all furnishings and light fittings, damp dust as required. Empty all dustbins and ensure household waste is placed in black plastic bags. Empty floral arrangements from residents’ rooms and leave rooms neat and clean. Anything contaminated with body fluids i.e., soiled pads, soiled dressing are to be placed in yellow bags and disposed of in yellow bins provided outside the Home. · To attend staff meetings regularly and to participate in training as requested. · Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary. Contribute to team effort · Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication · To be familiar with fire procedures and to attend fire drills and training as requested. · To be familiar with and to comply with the Health and Safety Policy and to attend training sessions as requested.
