Key duties of the Night Shift HGV Technician:
16. Conducting comprehensive repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles
17. Performing routine inspections, including tyre rotations and oil changes
18. Diagnosing faults using current diagnostic tools and methods
19. Maintaining accurate records of repair work carried out
20. Managing inventory and ensuring workshop cleanliness
21. Providing emergency roadside repairs when required
22. Completing all appropriate documentation and warranty claims
23. Supporting junior team members with technical training and guidance
Candidate requirements for the Night Shift HGV Technician:
24. Level 3 (NVQ, City and Guilds or IMI) qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
25. Proven experience in heavy vehicle repairs and diagnostics
26. Knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
27. Full UK driving licence suitable for HGV vehicles
28. Ability to work effectively within a team and on your own initiative
