Manager Health & Social Care - Regulated Service
Location: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, with travel around the area
Salary: £31,797 per annum
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Permanent
Travel: Full UK Driving Licence essential and access to a vehicle (business mileage reimbursed)
SSSC Registration: Registered with SSSC or meet the registration requirements
About the Role
The British Red Cross in Aberdeen is launching a new Discharge To Assess service. Do you have great leadership skills and can inspire others? Would you love to make a difference to vulnerable people's lives? For over 75 years, the British Red Cross has supported the NHS and provided a lifeline for those in crisis. If you're organized and motivated, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Health and Care team as a Service Manager. You will manage health and care services, ensuring standards and requirements are met and service contracts maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement services within national guidelines, adapting to local needs.
* Understand legislative frameworks related to social care, health, and social care standards.
* Ensure services align with the Corporate Plan and meet service standards.
* Support service development and contract management.
* Manage quality and performance.
* Line manage staff.
Qualifications and Skills
* Management experience and excellent organizational skills.
* Experience in health or social care settings or voluntary organizations.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Ability to manage budgets.
