As a Mechanical Supervisor, your expertise ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge aircraft, making a real impact in a highly specialised environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Review operational performance of aircraft systems and components.
Analyse and diagnose faults, apply technical knowledge to repair, modify, or improve procedures.
Ensure team meets maintenance schedules, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
Maintain personal and team competencies for aircraft/component work.
Demonstrate flexibility and proactive attitude, follow direction appropriately.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven and competent leader with a strong track record at this level Fully qualified technician with all required authorities and certifications in place Demonstrates breadth of experience, currency, and recency, supported by a comprehensive logbook of skills, knowledge, and authorisations Solid foundation in trade principles, complemented by practical expertise in maintenance and diagnostics Extensive experience in applying aviation safety standards and ensuring safe operating practices. xxuwjjq
Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a recognised military equivalent Holds a minimum academic qualification of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or an equivalent certification Strong technical foundation with practical experience gained through structured training and hands on application.
