Location: Birmingham
Salary: £25.25 per hour PAYE
Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Contract: PAYE Contract of Employment
Experience required: 2 years or more
Responsibilities
- Operating wheeled excavators (rubber duck) safely and efficiently across site
- Carrying out excavation, grading, lifting, and general earthworks
- Performing daily safety checks and routine maintenance on plant equipment
- Working closely with site managers, groundworkers, and other plant operators
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring safe movement and operation of machinery in live site environments
- Maintaining high awareness of surroundings, including pedestrians and other plant
- Assisting with general site duties where required
- Reporting any defects, faults, or safety concerns immediately
- Supporting the team to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Blue CPCS / NPORS Ticket (Wheeled Excavator)
- CSCS Card
Benefits
Remuneration of £25.25 per hour. The role includes holiday entitlement and eligibility to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
