Hours: 14 hours per week over 2 days including weekend and bank holiday working as required.
Salary: £8,998.08 to £9,070.88 per annum (£22,495.20 to £22,677.20 full time equivalent).

Following a recent internal promotion, we are looking for a passionate Assistant Shop Manager to support our Cromer town-centre shop during a maternity cover period an exciting opportunity to help drive the shops success, inspire staff and volunteers, and ensure every donated item makes an impact.

As Assistant Shop Manager, youll work closely with the Shop Manager to create a welcoming, well-organised and successful shop. Youll help coordinate day-to-day operations, support and develop volunteers, maximise sales opportunities, and ensure excellent customer service at all times. Youll also step up to lead the shop in the Managers absence, helping to maintain standards and keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking the lead in the day-to-day running and ongoing development of the shop when deputising for the Shop Manager.
* Maximising the value of donated items by overseeing effective sorting, eye-catching displays, and regular stock rotation.
* Supporting the Shop Manager to meet income targets, while driving high retail standards through strong leadership and team motivation.
* Assisting with the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing support of staff and volunteers helping everyone to thrive.
* Actively encouraging local donations to keep the shop well-stocked with quality items.
* Helping to coordinate furniture collections and deliveries to ensure a smooth customer experience.
