This role involves teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting both their academic progress and emotional development. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to SEND learners Support students with additional needs, including SEMH and behavioural challenges Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Work collaboratively with pastoral teams and support staff Support the development of literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent (desirable) Experience teaching KS3 and KS4, ideally within a SEND, SEMH or alternative provision setting Strong behaviour management and adaptability Understanding of safeguarding and SEND practices Ability to support students with emotional and behavioural needs Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer Competitive daily rates £130 - £250 per day Opportunity to work within a supportive specialist education setting Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant Access to further SEND teaching opportunities Safeguarding People Dynamix Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
