Maths Teacher – Secondary SEMH Provision Full-time | Long-term | Temp to Perm Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to join a specialist Secondary SEMH provision on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the successful applicant. The Role: Teaching Maths to pupils aged 8–16 Working with small class sizes within a specialist setting Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Helping to remove barriers to learning and re-engage students with education Collaborating with a supportive, multi-disciplinary team About the Provision: A small, nurturing SEMH setting with up to 60 pupils Focused on creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Strong emphasis on relationships, emotional regulation, and personalised learning Dedicated to helping pupils achieve both academically and personally Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Pay: Dependent on skills and experience The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher or strong Maths specialist with relevant experience Experience working with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour is desirable Calm, patient, and adaptable approach Passionate about making a genuine difference to young people’s lives This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is committed to inclusive education and motivated to support pupils in overcoming challenges to learning.
