Our Outstanding School in Mirfield are now looking for an experienced Class Teacher to join the dedicated and well-established team on a full-time basis.
Key aspects of your role will include:
* Identifying needs, assessing levels of ability and planning sessions which will meet the requirements of the children and develop their learning.
* Effectively delivering the personalised curriculum ensuring that the individual needs and interests of the children in the setting are met and supporting other team members to do this.
* Supporting the children throughout the day in order to develop independence, facilitate participation and learning, and develop physical and communication skills.
* Contributing towards designing and managing a varied and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of every student within the resources available, in accordance with the mission and ethos of the school.
* To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for young children with a wide range of disabilities to develop a degree of independence and to improve quality of life.
