Full-Time Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Red Rock Pharmacy is seeking a full-time/part-time Compounding Pharmacy Technicians to work our mid-closing shifts. We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy committed to delivering high-quality care to our community. As a compounding technician, you'll be part of a positive and supportive team dedicated to excellence in personalized medicine.
Position Overview
This role focuses on preparing customized medications for patients in a sterile and non-sterile compounding environment. The ideal candidate has prior compounding experience, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for precision and patient care.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare compounded medications accurately and safely following established formulas and guidelines
2. Measure and mix ingredients using proper compounding techniques
3. Maintain cleanliness and sterility standards in compounding areas
4. Label and record dosage information with accuracy and compliance
5. Process and manage prescription orders using pharmacy software
6. Manage inventory of compounding ingredients and supplies
Follow state and federal regulations, including USP,, and standards
7. Communicate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify orders or resolve discrepancies
8. Maintain proper documentation and logs for compounding activities
9. Support overall pharmacy workflow and maintain a safe, organized environment

Qualifications
* Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license
* Previous compounding experience preferred (sterile and/or non-sterile)
* Knowledge of compounding regulations and standards
* High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
