Order Packer – Job Vacancy
Role Purpose
We are expanding our team and seeking a reliable Order Packer to support the accurate preparation and processing of stock for our valued customer. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
2. Apply price labels to swing tags and packaging
3. Bag items neatly for customer dispatch
4. Reprocess customer returns, including re-bagging and relabelling
5. Pack pairs of socks into clear poly bags, apply pricing labels, and seal for shipping
6. Use the in-house computer system to generate stock labels (full training provided)
7. Open cartons, label stock, and prepare items for storage or dispatch
8. Check returned items against paperwork and report discrepancies
9. Return stock to the correct pick-face location
10. Clean lightly tried-on footwear (gloves provided)
11. Input data into the warehouse management system (WMS)
Requirements
12. Strong communication and teamwork skills
13. Physically fit – the role involves bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
14. High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Working Hours
15. Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
16. Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Breaks
17. Mon–Thurs: 1 hour unpaid (2 × 15 mins + 1 × 30 mins)
18. Friday: 45 mins unpaid (1 × 15 mins + 1 × 30 mins)
Overtime
19. 2 Saturdays per month: 7:00am – 2:00pm
