Cad Technician (2D AutoCAD / HVAC)
£40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Company Bonus + Company Benefits
Location: Middleton, Manchester
We are a Manchester-based construction and fit-out contractor delivering refurbishment, maintenance, and full build solutions across commercial, industrial, retail, and public-sector projects, supported by in-house project management and multi-trade teams.
Role Overview
In this role you will create 2D drawings for the building services industry. Your work will include ductwork layouts, FCUs, grilles, heat recovery, dampers, and ventilation systems. You will review 2D mechanical layouts and collaborate with the Pre-Construction and Mechanical teams for design direction.
Responsibilities
* Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
* Work under the direction of Pre-Construction and Mechanical Directors.
* Produce drawings for HVAC and other building services components.
Qualifications
* Experience producing 2D drawings for HVAC, MEP or Building Services industries.
* Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical layout creation.
* Background or familiarity with ductwork, FCUs, grilles, dampers and ventilation systems.
* Ability to work within established team guidance and timelines.
Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (40 hours per week)
