About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive. You'll support young people with their daily routines, personal development, education, and emotional wellbeing while promoting independence and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
* Supporting daily routines, activities, education, and life skills
* Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive behaviour
* Maintaining clear boundaries and providing consistent support
* Working closely with colleagues, families, and external professionals
* Recording and reporting information accurately
* Supporting safeguarding and ensuring the highest standards of care
Qualifications
* Experience working with children, young people, or individuals with Learning Disabilities
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Confidence in managing challenging situations professionally
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
* Residential childcare experience and relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

Pay range and compensation package
£25,359 - £34,055 per year*
£13.50 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
