The National Account Manager will plan, execute and maximize comprehensive, strategic business plans for our retailers, resulting in the delivery of sales and profit growth of existing and new Dyson products. There will be potential for direct reports in the future.
About the role:
Achieve sales, profit and inventory goals for multiple beauty retail accounts.
1. Deliver assigned budgets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
2. Develop strategic plans for channels, retailers, and products to achieve the agreed plan
3. Forecast at the account and product level as required
4. Manage funds and resources for the best return on investment; analyze data and implement high quality solutions and actions to drive business proactively with customer or team
5. Seek consensus and approval from internal stakeholders for proposed plans; negotiate with accounts to achieve company's best position
6. Monitor retailer sales and inventories; assess risks and opportunities; communicate and implement best profit and high customer satisfaction solutions
Develop and manage relationships and processes with internal business partners.
7. Develop, lead, and identify ideal process and key stakeholders to assure all necessary deliverables are achieved
8. Seek out decision makers and influencers, create positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
9. Accountability for all business processes related to the position, for example accounts receivable, legal, customer service, and all related administrative due diligence
10. Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Category and Channel to develop exclusive products and range.
11. Work with Logistics to execute and Sales Order processing to ensure delivery of products in an efficient and timely manner.
Plan, develop, and manage relationships with retailers, current and new.
12. Represent Dyson to the trade; demonstrate exemplary execution of Dyson values with business partners and emerging businesses.
13. Seek out decision makers and influencers, to best manage the business; create positive working relationships across all levels of their organizations.
14. Leverage knowledge of customers to seek solutions to support Dyson objectives and strategy.
15. Comprehensive knowledge of beauty retail market to identify opportunities for growth.
16. Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of customers and channels; ability to communicate that knowledge, serving as the voice of the customer internally.
17. Execute plans regarding distribution, merchandising, pricing, and product placement, including negotiating contracts and various programs with customers
18. Identify opportunities and related risks; assess situation and propose action
Contribute to the US Sales team.

About you:
25. Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in business or related field preferred
26. 3+ years’ experience in premium brand national account sales and account management calling on national retailers
27. Experience in mass big box
28. Diverse experience supporting sales, operations, trade marketing, category management, and financial analysis required
29. Strong proven track record of budget/quota delivery
30. Experience being an active and high performing member of a team
31. Demonstrate the ability to penetrate the appropriate customer, customer team, and internal functions to achieve maximum results on sales objectives
32. Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for channels, retailers, and products
33. Proven ability to positively influence buyers and management level decision makers to achieve customer business volume plan
34. Well-developed conflict resolution skills
35. P&L proficiency and ability to optimize return on investment - ability to determine short and longer term sustainable outcomes rooted in analysis. Ability to provide insights to POS trends within account base
36. Proven negotiation and closing skills, both at the account and product sales levels
37. Good customer and cross functional interface capabilities
38. Excellent presentation and influence skills
39. Excellent math and analytical skills
40. Ability to accurately forecast demand
41. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced proficiency in Excel
42. Demonstrate competency with internal and syndicated systems, data and content organization to support the needs of sales management
