About the Role
Powertutors UK is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND Tutors to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Whether you are a qualified SEND Teacher, an experienced Teaching Assistant, or a skilled Tutor, this role allows you to deliver personalised, one-to-one SEND tuition that makes a real difference.
As a SEND Tutor, you will plan and deliver tailored sessions that help students achieve their learning goals, build confidence, and thrive academically and socially. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a SEND Tutor, you will:

Deliver engaging one-to-one sessions tailored to each student’s needs

Plan lessons that support learning objectives and individual goals

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and Powertutors
*
Maintain minimal but accurate administrative records
*
Communicate effectively with Powertutors and families to ensure consistency

Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal SEND Tutor is:

Experienced in SEND education, whether as a Tutor, SEN Teacher, or Teaching Assistant
*
Passionate about helping neurodiverse children succeed
*
Patient, empathetic, and consistent in approach
*
Hold an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
