PURPOSE
To guarantee the maintenance of mechanical processes in a manner that ensures the highest reliability within the shift, in line with Group standards, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
Main Responsibilities
* Intervene in case of mechanical breakdown and assist with troubleshooting equipment problems.
* Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards and plans.
* Check equipment and operating systems, correcting issues wherever necessary.
* Ensure that mechanical operations, standards, and controls are maintained at high quality.
* Complete maintenance care obligations and provide assistance in equipment repair when required.
* Perform quality improvement, cost reduction, and productivity activities as obligated.
* Oversee mechanical devices while in operation and listen for complications using accurate testing and measuring instruments.
* Remove inoperative parts by disassembling devices with specific tools.
* Regulate downtime by instructing production staff on standard preventive maintenance methods.
* Maintain records and files as requested.
* Participate in emergency on‑call duty on a rotational basis and work all shifts flexibly when job demands.
* Ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area throughout the shift.
* Adhere to health & safety rules.

HOURS OF WORK
Full‑time 12‑hour shifts (06:30–18:30 or 18:30–06:30) with a mixture of days and nights. Hours work out at an average of 42 hours per week. The role follows a 4‑week rota, rotating through Day and Night shifts to ensure coverage and work‑life balance.
