Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Trainee Teaching Assistants to join our team and support pupils across local primary schools.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while developing your skills and confidence in a supportive school environment.
About the Role:
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils reach their learning goals.
- Assist with classroom activities, preparation of learning materials, and general supervision.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to pupils when required.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all children.
Requirements
- Currently training or studying towards a teaching assistant qualification (desirable but not mandatory)
- Passionate about supporting children’s education and development
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- A DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Experience working with children (in schools, childcare, or youth settings) is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
