Key Details
Location:Hillingdon Granges - comprising of Yiewsley Grange, Colne Grange, Upton Grange, This role will be predominantly based at Colne Grange, there may be requirements for the role to support other sites within the Hillingdon Granges sites from time to time.
Salary: Up to £53,200FTE DOEplus £5000 Welcome Bonus(Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £2,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £2,500upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday–Friday, 08:30am–16:30pm
Contract: Permanent(Term timeonly,orflexibility aroundfull-timecontractcan be discussed based on your personalcircumstances)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

The role: We are looking for an OccupationalTherapist to join our in-houseclinicalteam. Working collaboratively with theeducation team, you will deliver bespokeOccupational Therapyassessment and interventiontopupilswho may have experienceddevelopmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMHneeds.You will work within the standardsprovidedin theOFGOccupationalTherapy Ways of Working. Thiswill guide your practice within an education settingand clarify your roles and responsibilities,whiletaking into accountthe requirements of yourgoverning andprofessional bodies.You will be given responsibility for holding an occupational therapycaseload, with the full support ofyour designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultationasrequiredThis postwould suit a resilient,creativeand enthusiastic individual.

Location:Hillingdon Grange forms part of our Options Autism brand and is an independent specialist day school, supportingchildren and young people aged 3 – 14
Essential Criteria
* RecognisedOccupationalTherapy degree
* Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experienceinproviding occupational therapy services within a similarsetting ispreferrable
* Previously engaged with peoplewhoare neurodivergent and/or experiencelearning difficultyand/or socio-emotional and mental health difficultiesin any setting, being able toevidencetransferrable skills
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical applicationto support independence
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred
* Ability to work independently,flexibleandconfident
* Clear and concise report writing skills
* Hold a full UK driving licence, with access to a car
* Interest insensory integration or sensory-informed practice(SI practitionertraining in progress or completed is preferrable, however not essential)
