What You’ll Do
* Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to our residents’ needs
* Cater for texture-modified diets (IDDSI framework) and special dietary requirements
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
* Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide an exceptional dining experience
* Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
Desired Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Cook or Catering Assistant (Aged Care experience highly regarded)
* Understanding of IDDSI and texture-modified diets
* MBRC Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong time management and communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
* National Police Check (or willingness to obtain through BallyCara)
* Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
